How it all started
Ankur’s childhood was marked by annual family travels in the non-internet era, relying on monthly magazines to discover new Indian destinations. Each year, they would read about a new place, pack their bags, and embark on trips without pre-booked hotels. On the other hand, Anshu’s journey commenced with her father’s frequent official tours, where family members were often included. This allowed her to explore various cities and savor the meaningful moments spent together.
Our story
Commencing in 2017 with our marriage, our journey unfolded with a shared goal: to explore numerous places and embellish our passport with stamps from around the world. What began modestly with local getaways evolved into a remarkable 20-day European adventure. This particular trip took on a special theme, echoing the iconic film “DDLJ,” as we traversed each location in Switzerland where the movie was shot. DDLJ holds a cherished spot as our personal favourite, not only for its cinematic allure but for its role in placing Switzerland on the global tourist map, especially dear to us, Indians.
