7 Unforgettable Days in Thailand & Phuket

✈️ Day 1: Arrival in Phuket & Transfer to Krabi

Our adventure began with an early flight from New Delhi to Phuket, landing in the tropical paradise ready for the journey ahead. Without wasting time, we headed straight for the ferry terminal and embarked on a scenic ride across the Andaman Sea to Krabi. The sea breeze and glimpses of limestone cliffs set the tone for the days to come.

Upon arrival in Krabi, we checked into our hotel and took a moment to freshen up. The afternoon was perfect for unwinding at Ao Nang Beach, where the golden sands and gentle waves offered a peaceful welcome. As the sun began its descent, we hopped on a traditional longtail boat and glided across to Railay Beach. The dramatic cliffs and fiery sunset made for a magical end to our first day.

🗓️ Day 2: Phi Phi Islands Day Trip

The second day was all about exploring the world-famous Phi Phi Islands. We set off on a full-day tour that took us to postcard-perfect locations like Maya Bay, made famous by The Beach, as well as the tranquil Loh Samah Bay and mysterious Viking Cave. The crystal-clear waters were too inviting to resist, so we opted for some snorkeling to discover the vibrant marine life beneath the surface. By evening, we returned to Krabi, tired but exhilarated by the beauty of the islands.

🗓️ Day 3: From Krabi to Phuket

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Krabi and journeyed back to Phuket, either by ferry or minivan — both offering their own charm and views along the way. The trip took about 3–4 hours, and soon we were checking into our hotel in Phuket. The afternoon was ours to enjoy: we chose to explore the colorful lanes of Phuket Old Town, soaking up its colonial architecture and street art. Alternatively, you could opt to simply relax at Karon or Kata Beach, both perfect for a lazy afternoon by the sea.

🗓️ Day 4: Beach Bliss & Phuket Nightlife

We dedicated this day to pure relaxation and fun in the sun. Whether it was Patong Beach with its lively vibe or the calmer shores of Kata Beach, Phuket’s coastlines didn’t disappoint. For those with energy to spare, there was the option of another island-hopping tour — but having seen the Phi Phi Islands already, we chose instead to explore local sights. As dusk fell, we headed to Promthep Cape for a stunning sunset, and later, sampled the electric nightlife that Patong is known for.

🗓️ Day 5: Phuket to Bangkok

It was time to swap island life for city energy. We caught a morning flight to Bangkok, a swift two-hour hop. After checking into our hotel, we set out to explore this bustling metropolis. A Tuk-tuk ride through the busy streets or a Chao Phraya river cruise provided a perfect introduction to the city’s charm. Highlights of the day included the dazzling Grand Palace and the serene Wat Pho, home to the famous Reclining Buddha.

🗓️ Day 6: Temples, Markets & Street Food

Our penultimate day in Thailand was packed with culture and local flavor. We began at the iconic Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) with its striking riverside silhouette, followed by a visit to Wat Traimit, where the golden Buddha awaits. In the morning, we wandered through the Taling Chan Floating Market, sampling fresh fruits and snacks from boats. Come evening, the vibrant Ratchada Night Market lured us in with its lights, sounds, and endless street food — a true feast for the senses. We ended the night with a stroll through Siam or the buzzing lanes of Khao San Road.

🗓️ Day 7: Bangkok Shopping & Departure

With our flight scheduled for the night, we had the whole day to squeeze in some final experiences. We hit up local markets and malls for last-minute souvenirs and gifts, from quirky trinkets to Thai silks. Those craving a moment of calm found it in Lumphini Park, while others opted for a rejuvenating Thai massage — the perfect way to end the trip. Finally, we made our way to the airport, hearts full and bags packed, ready to head home with memories to last a lifetime.
